Here are a few shots from this past few weeks. We took our first camping trip of the summer. What a blast and jam packed. The first full day we went for a 4 mile hike. The kids did great and loved that they got to do it with friends that had come camping with us. After hiking we stopped for ice cream and played at the park. Enough for 1 day right??? Nope then we went to the creek at the camp ground and played in the cold water for a couple hours. Dinner and smores and the kids were out (so were the parents lol).
The next day we took our kids in the kayaks for a fishing trip at the lake. Both Thad and I almost tipped over while casting and while the kids were reeling in. It was so fun and relaxing. We watched bald eagles sore and dive for fish that other people where catching. Yep none on the Routson lines but Taylor swears he had a bite or two.
The day we came home from camping Taylor swore that he didn't need a nap. I walked into his room after things got that "it's too quite" feel and took this picture of him sleeping. That's one tired boy!
Sarah "graduated" from pre-school; well not really she'll be in the same class next year but non the less she loved have a cap and gown on and reminded Taylor that it was her turn not his. What a goof ball. She loves being done with school but wishes brother was done too. I guess mom is boring or something.
